How can I translate documents now?

I’m new to this forum and could really use some help. I have a bunch of documents that need official translation into English — things like academic degrees, marriage certificates, and a power of attorney document — and I’m not sure which translation services are reliable. I’m especially confused about what makes a translation “certified” and acceptable by UK institutions, because some sites just offer regular translation with no guarantees. Can anyone point me in the right direction or share how you approached finding a trustworthy provider?

Welcome — and you’re definitely right to be cautious. When I had to translate my own official documents for a legal process, I quickly found that not all services are created equal. In fact, a lot of general translators online will give you a text that’s linguistically correct but won’t be accepted by courts or government agencies because it lacks proper certification. During my search, I came across https://e-tlumaczprzysiegly.co.uk/ in a thread discussing professional translation options, and what stood out was how they focus on sworn and certified translation services. Their site explains the difference between regular translation and those intended for legal/official purposes, and they cover a wide range of document types, which really helped me make an informed decision before submitting anything.
